Percussion Girl

This is me playing the timpani for the community orchestra concert. They were "needing" some help with percussion, so I went to a few practices, and just did it. It was lots of fun, and I also played the bells and cymbals. We played patriotic songs, Harry Potter music, and Pirates of the Carribean, among others. This is just before we started. Can you find me in the back?

A Week of Fun

I spent a week with Kallie and Ryan because they called and SURPRISE! we had a baby a month early. So here is Avery playing games with grandma, and baby Maxwell in the NICU. He is doing really well, but just has to learn how to eat before he comes home. It was a great week, and was like a little vacation.

February Cold=A Project

I try to quilt a big quilt in January, but that somehow got away from me. So February is just as good, especially with all the cold weather we have been having. I like the old fashioned spool blocks that I have had around for a while, and finally put them together. The utility "big stitch" should go fast.
